Favorite movies My ultimate movie is virtually anything in the gore/thriller category; the Guinea Pig series, Hostel, the SAW line, etc. Like most people I also love comedy, but I go for those trashy, crude movies; The Hangover, Eurotrip, Old School and the likes. Favorite TV shows I watch a number of TV shows on a regular basis (or at least as regular as flipping on my DVR every week or two gets). Some of them are: Bones, The Big Bang Theory, House (RIP), Royal Pains, Suits and Burn Notice. I'm probably forgetting some here... Favorite bands / musical artists This is a difficult one for me due to how eclectic my musical tastes are. Anti-Flag, Three Days Grace, Blink 182, Tom Petty, Foreigner, Styx, Amber Pacific, Senses Faill... even Pitbull. Favorite books The Sound and the Fury may be my favorite. Or maybe Tale of Two Cities... Faulkner vs. Dickens. I don't read enough fiction though- I mostly have my head buried in development or management books. I love The Pragmatic Bookshelf. Favorite writers Charles Dickens as far as the classics. I've only read one book by them, but Johanna Rothman and Esther Derby wrote one of my favorite management books. Their writing style is engaging, they made an otherwise dry area (management) very much enjoyable. Favorite games I like my MMOs, even if I don't play them regularly; WoW, Rift, EvE Online. I'm also a huge fan of the Civilization series... can never get enough. And The Elder Scrolls... oh Skyrim! I also enjoy blowing things up in Grand Theft Auto now and again. Favorite gaming platform Definitely my PC. I haven't kept up on console or handheld gaming since I was a teenager. Tools of the Trade As far as my art goes: it's Adobe through and through (Photoshop, occasionally Illustrator). Now for my development, I could spend hours listing the tools I use. Other Interests I'm a software developer at heart; it's what I do best and what I enjoy the most. I'm also very much interested in database, system and networking administration. Especially database administration.
